NECA announces Nightmare Before Christmas - Christmas Town Expansion Pre-Release Tournaments
The first expansion for Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas TCG - Christmas Town - will be hitting stores May 10th, and to celebrate we will be running Pre Release events on May 5th, 6th & 7th.
Along with getting the first chance to play and take home cards from the Christmas Town Expansion, all the players at these events will get exclusive promo cards and the winner of each Pre-Release Tournament will receive a set of exclusive Lock, Shock and Barrel foil cards (i.e. the Lock, Shock, and Barrel from the Tournament Kit).
The tournament will be in the classic starter deck format with a little twist. Since there are no starters in this set, players will be making their decks out of 6 booster packs. The extra cards needed to facilitate this will be sent with the Tournament Kits. Also included in the Tournament Kits will be an 11x17 poster to announce the tournament, as well as guidelines for running the tournament.
Tournament Kits will be sent at no additional charge with the order of booster displays for the event. Please note you will need one display for each six players at the event.
